For our mom's Birthday we celebrated at the happiest place on Earth, Walt Disney World. If you haven't guessed already, we are what you might call "Disney Lovers". We ate breakfast at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. The food per Disney tradition was amazing. We love meeting all the characters, and we especially loved Minnie's dress. After breakfast we looked in the shops around the resort and Cassidy found an amazing Maleficent hat made just for her. We tried on the cat tails and Carter loved her Marie tail. We found Frozen Alex and Ani bracelets but we didn't buy them. Maybe next time! We don't have annual passes any more but we are trying to convince our parents into getting them for Christmas. Fingers crossed!

Every year we like to spend a weekend in St. Pete Beach. For the past few years, we've stayed at the beautiful Don CeSar. It was built in the 1920s and some say it's haunted. Last year we were up all night because we swore that one of the chairs kept moving. This time we didn't have ghost experiences(thank goodness). We tried paddleboarding for the first time and it was so fun. Cassidy was brave enough to stand up, although she almost fell off the first time she tried to stand. Carter refused to get up so she remained seated and because of that her legs fell asleep. Every morning we played each other at air hockey and Cassidy won the majority of the time. We love the Don CeSar; everything feels so nice and luxurious during your stay. It's a great way to spend one of the last weekends of summer.

Fun Fact
Carter: I recently finished Les Miserables and it was 1, 232 pages long. It was amazing!
Cassidy: I'm also reading Les Miserables but I'm way behind and I'm mentally preparing myself for the Barricade part.

Frenchy's is a great restaurant in Clearwater, FL. We used to live around the area and now we like to go whenever we can. It just has a great beachy vibes and great food. It's right on the beach and a perfect place to watch the sunset. They have a great grouper sandwich so Carter got the Classic Grouper sandwich and Cassidy got the Cajun Grouper sandwich. Both were delicious. The conch fritters we got as an appetizer were mouthwatering. It was our first night at the Don CeSar and we're glad we spent it at Frenchy's.

Upstate NY

Even though we had a rough start, our trip to Upstate New York ended up being amazing. We walked every morning around our grandma's house and the views were spectacular! We also met many animals along the way; we saw horses, cows, chickens, a pony named Rocky, several friendly dogs( especially CG, Crazy Girl), and chipmunks! The chipmunks  were adorable and not something you find in Florida. We loved feeding them peanuts; they could hold three at a time. The wildflowers were so beautiful, we picked some on one of our walks and Cassidy got really into it. We saw giant hay bales in one of the fields so we decided to get our picture with it(we've never seen one before). The hills made every view amazing and we loved the views but our ears kept popping. All in all, we had a ton of fun during our trip to New York!

Fun Facts
Carter: I'm definitely more outdoorsy than my sister, I'm not saying I would enjoy camping but I like to be in the great outdoors!
Cassidy: I like to say I like the outdoors but in reality the only nature I enjoy being part of is the beach or a tropical island. Although, I would say I'm a huge animal rights activists.
