Dressed up for Spring show without the seniors

Spring Show Program
Recently we had our dance team's spring show. It was the last time we would have the chance to dance with our seniors. We were in five numbers all together; Opening number (Circus theme), Pom, Ballet, Senior Goodbye(lyrical), and Lyrical. We both want to do a duet when we are seniors together; it would be so cute since we're twins. The show was bittersweet because we were thinking about dancing with our seniors one last time and what a great year we had together. I put some pictures up from winter show and competition. The first one is from winter show; we all were dressed up as reindeer for a Christmas themed show. We also did Jazz and Hip Hop in winter show. We competed jazz, hip hop, and pom this year for competition and we did pretty well. We had such a fun year with dance team and hopefully next year will be even better!

Francesco's

Their very delicious bread!

Cassidy's Panino Italiano and House Salad

Carter and her Pizza Bianca

Italian Wedding Cake
Cassidy: Shirt: Target, Necklace: The Loft
Carter: Shirt: J. Crew, Necklace: The Loft
Francesco's is our favorite Italian Restaurant; their food is so good! The owner and chef is from Italy and studied there. The dough they use is so good, they bake it in 700 degree ovens! The wedding cake is something you can't miss out on, but if they run out (which they might because it's soo good) the Cassata al Forno is just as good. Cassidy's panini is her favorite and it's big enough to save half for lunch the next day. Carter only ate two of her pieces of pizza, no worries she didn't eat the whole thing. It's always a good night at Francesco's!
Fun Facts
Carter: I eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich everyday for lunch.
Cassidy: I don't like rollercoasters. I say I'll go on but right before we get in line I back out.

Dance Banquet

Trophy Table

Yummy Cake!!

Photo Booth Fun

Twincesses!

Last weekend, we had our banquet for dance team. The theme was Great Gatsby, but no one really dressed up so mainly just the decorations went with the theme. We had a lot of fun in the photo booth, especially dressing up in the props. All the dancers sat at one table but because our team is so big we were all crammed. The menu was salad, rice and beans, chicken, mac and cheese, and rolls. Cassidy didn't know how to eat chicken off the bone so she didn't eat much. The coaches gave us cups with our names on it filled with kettle corn. They gave out the trophies and awards, then some girls made speeches. They were mainly seniors so they were all crying and it was very drawn out. We got home a little late which was stressful because we had an AP art history exam to take that Tuesday. Try outs are in a few weeks, fingers crossed!

Fun Fact:
Cassidy: I am eight minutes older than Carter. For me, that makes me the big sister, plus I'm almost two inches taller than her so that helps.
Carter: I am not very emotional, like when the seniors were giving speeches everyone was bawling except me, I felt sad but I couldn't cry.

Cinco de Mayo(early)

Chips and Salsa

Carter's Chicken Quesadilla

Cassidy's Tacos al Pastor

Carter: Shirt, Jeans, and Jacket: American Eagle; Bracelet: Kiel James Patrick

We went to our favorite Mexican restaurant, Senor Tequila,  for Cinco de Mayo. Their food is amazing. Carter got a quesadilla because she's not a big fan of Mexican food. Cassidy loves Mexican food, the spicier the better! Happy Cinco de Mayo(almost)!

Fun Facts:
Carter: I hate spicy food I can't handle the heat. The queso sauce was spicy to me and I asked my sister if she thought so, but I was the only one.
Cassidy: I get my self into the most awkward situations and I always embarrass myself. Quick story; I was at my neighbors house and we were watching a movie. I was on the floor with a blanket with their dog underneath it with me. I started to rub what I thought was the dog's paw, but our neighbor's son, who is our age, moved his foot( apparently he was also under the covers) and we both realized that I was rubbing his foot the entire time. Not sure who he thought was rubbing his foot, at least I had the excuse of thinking it was their dog. I have countless stories like that and strangely, a lot of them involve our neighbors.
