For Father's day, we went to America's oldest city, Saint Augustine. Our first stop was our favorite restaurant in the city, Harry's. It is right on Avienda Menendez which is on Mantanza Bay. It used to be an old house and a few years ago on a ghost tour we learned that it's haunted. Harry's serves New Orleans style food. Our dad always gets the Jambalaya and we split the Red Beans and Rice with Smoked Sausage, but because we were so hungry we forgot to get any pictures of our amazing food. On the ghost tour, they told us that the ladies' restroom is haunted so whenever we go up there we get so nervous. We walked along St. George street, which is an amazing place to shop. Our mom got new sunglasses and earrings, and our dad didn't get anything so a little confusion there. We stopped at Kilwin's and they have the best milkshakes. Carter got a milkshake with St. Augustine mud ice cream and Cassidy got cinnamon crumb cake ice cream. We walked around the fort, Castillo de San Marcos. We got to see the cannons go off and it was louder then we expected. We walked along the water to get to the docks where we planned on taking a boat around the bay. There are so many sailboats in the water and a few pirate ships. Our boat ride was fun but gray clouds threatened to storm the whole time. Luckily, it passed. Overall, it was a great day and hopefully our dad had a fantastic Father's Day!

Fun Fact
Our dad's side of the family was originally from Saint Augustine and we know the exact street they lived on. The lived there in the 1800s and before that they came from Cuba.

As an early Father's Day present we took our dad to Magic Kingdom. It was a fun day. We waited for an hour and a half just to get on the new Seven Dwarves Mine ride and we were dying from the heat. The ride was worth it though, it went fast for a kids ride and had a cute part in the mine with all the dwarves singing. Although, the people that day were extremely pushy. We don't if it was the heat or what was wrong but a lot of people were rude. Our dad loves the Pirates of the Caribbean(who doesn't), so we watched the Pirate show right outside of the ride. It's always a good show and we got some pretty good seats. For lunch, we ate at the Tortuga Tavern, where Carter got a rice and bean burrito and both Cassidy and our dad got a chicken burrito. The burritos were good but really hard to eat, it's better if you just eat it with a fork and eat the tortilla last. We went on the Jungle Cruise and our skipper was one of the best ones we've had. On the Jungle Cruise, it's only good if you have a funny skipper. We decided to match that day, but we ended up just wearing the same shirt with different accessories. A few people asked if we were twins, but mostly people just stared. We ended our day at the Columbia Harbour House for dinner. Carter got a kids meal, Cassidy got a lighthouse sandwich, and our dad got a tuna sandwich. The chips that come with the sandwiches are so addicting! Overall, it was a great day!

Sweet! Cupcakes by Holly

Sweet! is a cupcake shop near us and their cupcakes are delicious. We stopped in after lunch and we split a Cookies'n'Cream cupcake and it was to die for. They have two sizes, originals and minis, we split an original because they are huge. The minis are good if you want a little taste of each. Cassidy's favorite flavors are Cookies'n'Cream, Chocolate Pudding( pretty sure it's the purple icing that makes it so good), and Strawberry. Carter loves Boston Cream(also favorite donut).

Fun Fact
Carter: I love anything chocolate, but I can't handle warm fruity desserts. They just don't agree with me.
Cassidy: I love chocolate too, but if it's between chocolate and strawberry I always go with strawberry. I thinks it's so good; I love strawberry milkshakes, strawberry cake, strawberry ice cream, and really anything with strawberries. Although, I can't stand strawberry milk; it's too sweet.

We decided to have a beach day with some of our friends and unfortunately 8 out of the 18 we invited could come. It was still fun though. We walked with Kenzie, Mariana, Kayla, and Gail to a pier at the end of the beach. It took forever because it was farther than we thought. Kenzie carried Mariana on her back and that was so funny because Mariana did seem to grasp the concept of a piggyback ride. We took a twin picture because we had three sets of twins there(it would've been a missed opportunity if we didn't). Kayla and Gail have their own YouTube channel and they have a lot of fun videos; you can click here to check it out. Overall, it was a fun and a great way to start summer.

Fun Fact
Carter: I love Les Mis(so does Cassidy) and it was one of the few movies I cried for. I think the best looking barricade boy is Grantaire.
Cassidy: I'm really careful with my phone but getting out of the car from the beach Iforgot it was in my lap and it fell flat on the ground. I wasn't too worried because I've dropped it before but when I picked it up the screen was shattered.
